Learning, saved tools, and comparisons keep only task/tool IDs and states in this browser’s localStorage. There is no free text, identity field, or cross-device profile.

Search is not uploaded

The tool index loads into the browser and matches locally. The app does not send search terms or learning actions to NEWVAR APIs and installs no third-party analytics.

Feedback is separate

D1 stores only the correction reason, optional tool slug and official URL, a note up to 500 characters, and time. Contact details, attachments, HTML, Markdown, and private data are rejected; nothing is auto-published.

Hosting has limits

NEWVAR does not claim absolute zero collection. Hosting and security services may process IP, User-Agent, and short-lived security logs for delivery and abuse prevention; NEWVAR does not write these into its D1 feedback table.

Young people

No birthday is collected. Unknown-age, 18+, or high-risk tools are excluded from youth recommendations. Young people should check terms with a guardian and practice only with fictional or public material.
